Our partner Hotels have set aside room blocks for the Meet. When you make your reservation don't forget to mention The Buffalo Short Track Championships to receive the group rate.

 

The “cut-off date” for accepting reservations is 09/23/2015. Reservations requested after this date will be accepted on a space and rate available basis.

Heartland Open -

(For skaters ages 12 and older (as of 7/1/15) who meet the qualifying time standard of 1:48.0 for men and 1:58.0 for women in the 1000 meters)

Format

 

The format of the Meet is a two round progression, one Heat and a final. The number of finals are based on the number of skaters in the Heats. First place of each Heat goes to the A final, then seeded by times.


The Super 1500M is based on overall points. All Junior C athletes and above will skate in a Super 1500M.

Quantum Physical Therapy Services

 

Quantum will be providing PT to Meet participants, on a drop in basis. Athletes and coaches can stop in if they have a soft tissue injury, concern, or simply have a question.
